Wednesday - 07:30 pm - 713 Music Hall - Houston, TX
713 Music Hall has been around for a while, but not always by that name. At one time it was known as The Terminal and it presented loads of great music for fans across Houston. But recently it’s been brought back as 713 Music Hall with support by Live Nation as their event promoter.
It’s now a state-of-the-art 5,000 person capacity concert venue located in the east wing of the USPS’ former headquarters in Houston. It features an exquisite balance between bold architecture while still respecting the raw industrial character of the historic facility.
Today, fans and ticket holders will get to enjoy an amazing venue with bars, hidden lounges, and a massive performance space. It’s got the tech and engineering to make it a cutting edge venue to host some of the most explosive concerts and live performances in the world. And many critics and venue hosts have called it unmatched in style.
When the venue reopened as 713 Music Hall it needed to make a big and bold statement to show what it was about. So the venue’s owners quickly moved to hire staff with their vision of top-notch entertainment. This also meant bringing in the AUstralian dance-pop trio Rufus du Sol to play at the venue in November of that year.
Since then, Live Nation announced plans to develop the venue and make it an even greater venue than it could be. So it was designed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture to have the feel and style of a small club, despite having a larger capacity than nearby Bayou Music Center. The Balcony aisles and walkways were designed so the artists on stage saw only a sea of people.
The floor was designed to be a general admission space and to combine fiberglass grating, polycarbonate and aluminized fabric with an array of multicolored lighting effects. All of which makes the venue feel like the coolest nightclub in Houston.
Many guests will tell you that 713 Music Hall has a special place in the heart of music lovers in the city. It’s got a great location off the beaten path making it feel like a hidden treasure in the busy city. Guests that visit feel like they’ve discovered a secret wonder and are quick to celebrate with a lot of energy, positivity, and everything you could expect from a guest.
And this energy gives shows at the venue a cool vibe. There’s a feel that everyone is there to have a great time with the big energy and pulse pounding excitement that comes from most Live Nation promoted venues. As you can guess, this energy reaches the performers on stage spurring which only makes their shows even more excited and energetic with the kind of positive energy that sweeps audiences along and puts them in the best of moods.
Design wise, the venue has an unmistakable style. It’s built to resemble a more intimate night club or dance club while still having the space for larger and more formal music halls. So it’s gives guests an exquisite blend of moods and vibes that’s slick, sweet, and suave all at once.
It’s a great time and guests can expect to enjoy that great time!
713 Music Hall is proud to offer a performance space with room for 5,000 guests across multiple levels. Most seating is restaurant style seating around tables in various areas around the venue. For most events, reserved seating can be found on the floor closest to the stage with general admission seating on the wings. There is also a seating area in the rear that allows a great view of the stage, for normally cheaper costs.
The most popular seating options are on the floor for those who want the best view of the show or on the wings for guests that want a more social experience. So we recommend ordering as early as possible.
713 Music Hall is proud to offer ADA-approved seating spaces as well as additional accommodations for those with disabilities. This seating is available at a first-come, first-serve basis and includes companion seating whenever possible. If you require emergency seating at the last moment, then we advise that you call the venue as soon as possible to make sure you can get a seating adjustment before these spaces fill out.
Additionally, if you require any other accommodation, including for seeing and hearing, we recommend calling no later than two weeks before the show so the venue has plenty of time to make arrangements. You may also speak with a member of guest services or the box office once you arrive.
